Demetria Devonne Lovato, in arte "Demi" è una cantautrice statunitense, che ha origini italiane, irlandesi e messicane. Nasce a Dallas il 20 Agosto 1992. Sin da piccola ha avuto dei problemi con il suo corpo: le sue compagne la predevano in giro con commenti offensivi riguardanti il suo peso. Demi per rimanere in forma ed essere magra, è diventata Anoressica e Bulimica. Questi disturbi, però, non le hanno impedito di vivere una vita normale! Infatti debutta su Disney Channel con il Film Camp Rock e il sequel Camp Rock 2-The Final Jam, affiancata dai Jonas.
